Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk

Who we are

The Clyde Companies have been around for almost 100 years. Beginning as WW Clyde, the small family run business, has now turned into nine separate subsidiaries collaborating on thousands of projects each year. The enterprise is comprised of companies that span from administrative services to insurance and from building materials to construction. Clyde Companies, Inc. is the administrative services group that supports the other eight subsidiaries.

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk who wants to have an impact and join the Clyde family!

The position

*This position will work in office.

Do you have a strong interest in accounting, the ability to handle multiple tasks and details simultaneously, and exceptional customer service skills? As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will hold a critical position in the company by making sure we are staying up to date on all of our bills! In this position you will do things like:

• Review and verify all invoices for the appropriate approval,
• Scan and enter invoices into the accounting system,
• Review vendor statements and work with vendors to research and correct differences,
• Mail checks to vendors, and
• Other assigned duties.

What makes you successful

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk needs to have:

• A strong interest in Accounting,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and other computer skills,
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and
• Data entry skills.
