Description:
The Community Engagement Manager leads the development and execution of strategic outreach initiatives that strengthen relationships with key community stakeholders, public officials, and internal teams. This role is responsible for advancing the company’s brand, values, and reputation through meaningful engagement, while supporting enterprise-wide initiatives and public policy efforts. The manager will guide community engagement strategies, mentor junior team members, and collaborate across departments to align outreach with organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of community engagement strategies that align with company vision and core values.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with community leaders, public officials, and other key stakeholders.
Represent the company at public events, forums, and meetings to promote brand awareness and foster goodwill.
Collaborate with internal teams to support enterprise initiatives, public policy efforts, and strategic communications.
Oversee the development and maintenance of communication tools, records, and engagement tracking systems.
Identify opportunities for community partnerships and sponsorships that support business and social impact goals.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, including Community Engagement Specialists.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement strategies and recommend improvements.
Ensure consistent and professional representation of the company in all community-facing activities.

Education and Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in communication, public relations, political science, marketing, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in community engagement, public affairs, or a related field.
Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Physical Work Requirements - Light: exerting up to 15 lbs of force occasionally.
Repetitive motion associated with operating various types of equipment.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
