JOB TITLE: Director, Enterprise Program – Construction Services
FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Enterprise Working Group and the Enterprise Working Group Chair, the Director, Enterprise Program oversees a family of technology systems with their related processes and projects in support of business needs for the subsidiary companies that do work in those systems.
REPORTING TO: VP Enterprise Business Solutions
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Drives the establishment of the vision of how technology can be used to increase revenue, lower expenses, and lower risk.
Owns developing and executing on a set of strategies to achieve the vision.
Ensures vision and strategies are aligned with business strategies and direction from related working groups and related company leadership teams.
Ensures product roadmaps and related IT projects are aligned with vision and strategies and that they are well executed.
Works with the other CCI Enterprise Program Directors as systems and business processes intertwine across subsidiary companies and divisions.
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with the various company leadership teams –especially at the MLT (Management Leadership Team) and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) levels.
Establishes and maintains positive relationships with the companies that provide software and services to Clyde Companies.
Supports the Enterprise Working Group Chair in leading the Enterprise Working Group.
Ensures proper ownership for all major business processes.
Ensures business process owners are properly trained.
Works with Business Process Owners to ensures business processes are documented, well used, and efficient and that they yield high-quality results.
Oversees efforts to improve construction services business processes and the technologies that support them.
Owns and oversees the selection, implementation, operation, and performance of systems in support of defined business needs.
Ensures assigned systems are cost-effective, current, and well used for designated purposes as defined by the business.
Owns the total cost of ownership (TCO) and return on investment (ROI) for every assigned solution.
Under the direction of the Enterprise Working Group, owns and leads efforts to innovate and improve assigned solutions.
Ensures all related IT projects are well defined, properly prioritized by the enterprise working group, and well executed.
Directs a team of Systems Analysts and Engineers.
Works with the IT Infrastructure and Platform Services Teams.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
5+ years prior experience leading project teams
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Strong technical IT aptitude
Strong understanding of construction management processes
Strong construction services, materials, scheduling, and equipment aptitude
Strong customer service aptitude and skills
Strong business relationship skills
Experience with HCSS Suite of Services strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional work outside of regular business hours and/or overnight travel
Sedentary work, requiring lifting up to 15 lbs at a time
May be required to occasionally walk over uneven ground, stoop, crouch, kneel, grab, and hold objects
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
