JOB TITLE: Intern, Equipment
JOB LOCATION: Orem/Lindon, Utah
REPORTS TO: Manager, Equipment Controls
FUNCTION:
The Equipment Intern will support the Equipment Controls team by assisting with the cleanup, audit, and validation of equipment data. This role is focused on improving data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across equipment database. The intern will gain hands-on experience in ERP systems, Microsoft applications, asset management, and cross-company communication while providing direct support to our subsidiaries.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Support the maintenance and improvement of equipment and asset data within the company’s enterprise systems
Assist with data validation, standardization, and quality control efforts following system migrations or updates
Conduct research to verify equipment, vehicle, and asset information and ensure records align with established standards
Help ensure equipment and vehicle records meet internal, regulatory, and reporting requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and subsidiaries to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and promote data accuracy
Document findings, updates, issues, and communicate progress to the Equipment Management team
Contribute to ongoing process improvements and data governance initiatives

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Supply Chain, Construction Management, or a related field
Knowledge of heavy-duty construction equipment and construction industry preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sedentary work, requiring regular lifting up to 10lbs and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
Inside, climate-controlled working conditions, seated at a desk for extended periods of time
Some local travel to site locations
