JOB TITLE: Aviation Intern
JOB LOCATION: Provo Airport Hangar
REPORTS TO: Chief Pilot
FUNCTION: The Aviation Intern works during a school semester to provide routine cleaning and maintenance, flight preparation, and other assigned duties within a corporate aviation department.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values;
Refuel the aircraft;
Move aircraft in and out of hangar;
Clean and restock aircraft;
Assist in routine aircraft maintenance;
Assist in pre-flight checks;
Meeting arriving flights and dispatching departing flights;
Assist in coordinating flight itineraries;
Attend meetings pertaining to flight operations, safety, and maintenance;
Auditing documents in part with FAA guidelines;
Perform other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Current student majoring in an aviation program or other related field;
Experience adhering to FAA guidelines;
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate: exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally for maintenance repairs, loading and unloading of bags and other equipment, etc.
Positions self around and inside aircraft to provide maintenance and routine cleaning;
Navigates airplane hangar to perform assigned duties;
Ascend and descend stairs;
Occasional day travel opportunities;
Working inside climate-controlled settings and outside with regular exposure to the elements;

Needs to be within 45 minutes of the Provo Airport;
