Description


We are seeking a motivated and eager Application Development Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in developing solutions using the low-code Power Platform and related components, including Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, Power FX, and Copilot Studio. The intern will work as part of a development team to complete tasks with mentoring and supervision.  
 

Responsibilities


Collaboration and Requirements Analysis 

  • Assist in the analysis of functional requirements and mapping them to technical designs as part of a cross-functional team with representation from business and IT teams. 
  • Communicate development and design strategies with cross-functional team members. 
  • Provide project managers with time estimates for development tasks and deliver work as specified and on schedule. 

Solution Development 

  • Help design and develop custom business applications, workflows, and process automations using the Power Platform. 
  • Augment low-code toolset with JavaScript and other scripting languages. 
  • Customize user interfaces, apply branding, and enhance the overall user experience of the solutions we build. 
  • Follow established development and security guidelines and standards. 
  • Create as-built documentation and user guides as required. 
  • Stay current with the latest Power Platform developments. 

Solution Operations 

  • Ensure the quality and performance of applications and automations through testing and ongoing maintenance. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within solutions, including error handling and performance optimization. 
  • Test and fix defects as they arise. 
     

Qualifications


  • Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and leverage low-code platforms. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or equivalent experience. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
